It's a boy!!!

The boys are really excited, Annie really doesn't care or understand what is going on.  Everything looked great and I am measuring 18 weeks and 3 days.  There was a little bit of fluid in the kidneys, which my dr. said not to worry about, but that it would give him a reason to look again later on.  So I will probably get another u/s, which is cool.  The new technology is cool, but I think he didn't get as many good shots as he could have or might have, if the baby was bigger.  He kept covering his face with his hands so it was hard to get a good face pic, but it was still cool to see and I am hoping that when I have my next u/s maybe the face pics will be better.  There was one really cute pic with the baby's mouth open like he was singing, so the dr. typed in Fa La La La La .  I think I might use that for our christmas cards this year.

It's a boy!!!

16 weeks!!

I am 16 weeks and everything is going well.  Saw the dr. yesterday, they found the heartbeat easily and beating at 156 bpm.  I still haven't felt any movement, but I am expecting that at any time.  Can't wait, it's my favorite things about being pg.  All the morning sickness is gone.  So happy to not feel sick anymore, so grateful that I am one of those people that the morning sickness leaves after the first trimester and doesn't linger the whole time.  Only 2 weeks away and we can find out what we are having. So excited to find out.  I really don't know this time, don't have any feelings or anything about it, so just want to take a look and see what we see.

2nd trimester!!!

I am officially in my second trimester.  Yahh!! But more importantly I haven't thrown up in over a week.  I think the morning sickness is behind me.  I do not feel 100% all the time, and hoping that I get a burst of energy soon, but I am so glad not to be sick anymore.  In less than a month, we get to see this little bundle of joy growing inside and me, and will get to find out what we are having.  I am excited to know.  Part of me really wants a little girl, so that Annie will have a sister, and they can be as good as friends as JR and AJ, but I also have always thought our youngest would be a boy.  So not really sure which way this will go. I am pretty sure this is my last pregnancy, I do not think I can do this again. But I guess only the Lord knows for sure.

12 weeks

I had my 12 week appt this week and everything looks great.  Had another u/s and baby is doing good. I am still sick, but am really hoping it get better soon.  Next appt. will be at 16 weeks and then I get my big u/s at 18 weeks.  It is scheduled on my birthday.  I am really excited.  The dr. said that he is getting new software for his u/s machine.  It should be here before my u/s and it will allow us to see pics in real color, or the pics of the baby will be in pink flesh color.  It is call HD live, and my dr. was pretty excited about it.  Can't wait to see how the pics turn out.  Will be happy when the morning sickness goes away and hoping everything else goes smoothly.

AJ's prayers

I wanted to write this down, since it relates to this pg, and I do not want to forget. AJ has really started to pray for specific things that he thinks about.  With regards to me being pg, he has recently said in his prayers, "bless mom to stop throwing up".  He has also said, "bless the baby's heart to not stop bumping".  I thought both were really sweet of him to think of and I did not want to forget.
