Update

I just need to spend some time and write down some things about this pregnancy.  Most days I don't have the energy to do much, so I have not been good about keeping this blog updated.  But I want to keep it updated, so each of my kids can one day read through it and know what it was like for me to be pregnant with them.  I also want to just remember for myself.  I am pretty sure this is the last time I will ever be pregnant.  I guess there is no way for me to know for sure, but I really don't want to go through this again.  It is strange, because 7 years ago, I thought I would never say something like that, and part of me hates that I feel that way.  For so many years I wanted to be pregnant, and it didn't happen, I never thought I would get to the point where I never wanted to be pregnant again.  But that is where I am.  It is part because it is hard being pregnant with little kids.  I hate that I can't get down on the floor with them and play with them, without hurting so much.  I hate that I am so exhausted and not wanting to take them places or allowing them to play outside, because it would make me so tired.  I know it is only for a short time really, and soon I will be able to do all those things with them again, but for now I just would rather have my baby in my arms then inside me.

I need to try to remember the last month or so.  I have been checked by the dr. twice now and am not dilated at all.  Which means he will probably stay put for at least a week or so more.  Last week there was about 3 days that I had the worst acid reflux, that I could barely sleep.  It woke me up in the night, and I was getting really concerned that I would have to deal with that the rest of the pg, but fortunately it has gone away, almost completely.  Which makes me feel maybe he moved off my stomach or something to that effect and hopefully it won't be a problem anymore.  None of my maternity clothes are fitting anymore, I hate choosing what to wear everyday.  I am so ready to be done with maternity clothes. I feel like I am huge, and people have told me how huge I am.  I think my belly sticks out more now than it used to.  I imagine a lot about how I will go into labor this time.  Just hoping the timing and everything else works out good.  I can't help but think that April 5th will be a good birthday for him.  I am afraid that if I go past that, I will be so disappointed.

I know I complain a lot about all the aches and pains of pg, but I really do love feeling him move.  Last week at YW, some of the girls were feeling my tummy hoping to feel the baby move, and he did.  They were excited to be able to feel it.  That really is the one thing that I have always loved about being pregnant.  Feeling the baby move inside me it such an awesome thing, and I do miss it when I am no longer pregnant.  I am grateful that I have been able to experience it with 4 different pregnancies now.

I know there are things I wanted to write about, that I am sure I have forgotten.  But hopefully I will add some more updates before this little guy arrives.  I need to upload another belly pic. I am going to start trying to take them every week now, since I am close enough that I won't know which one will be my last one with this pregnancy.  I really am ready to meet this little guy, and so excited for his arrival.  I do not have any fear of labor this time, although I will be happy when its over and my little man is in my arms.  This week I will be 37 weeks and technically that is full term.  I am almost there, almost a mom of 4.

I am behind on keeping this blog updated.  I will try to catch up this week. Its one of the few things left on my to do list before baby comes.

Here are my belly pics that I have not posted.

I really don't feel like my belly can get any bigger. Hope this little guy doesn't keep my waiting, because once MIL gets here, he is welcome to come anytime.

Too long

It's been too long since I updated here.  I need to do better so I have a good record of this pregnancy.  I am 30 weeks.  I know I have a least 1 belly shot I have not uploaded and need to take another one.  I also had a u/s my last dr. appt.  Stanley is head down and tucked right into my hip, he likes to keep his hands by his face, so the dr. wasn't able to get any good pics of his face.  But everything looks perfect.  He is measuring about a week ahead.  I have decided that he should be born on April 5 or 6, that would be good timing for me at least. I can hope right?  I will try to upload some pictures of the u/s soon. I do not think I will get another u/s, so the next pictures that I have of this baby, will be after he is born. I feel like a giant, and know that most people think I will deliver any day, when in reality I still have 2 more months.  I do not have a lot of energy anymore.  I can barely breath.  I forget how much room the baby takes up this far along.  He really is quite big in there, I can't believe he still needs to add on maybe 5 lbs before he is born.  How will he ever fit.  I am almost reached my max weight for this pg (in terms of what I wanted to gain).  I am hoping to stay under it, but we will see. I gained the most with JR but I never want to gain that much again, so far I am not there, but it could happen with this one.  I can't think of much more to stay right now, just trying to keep up with the kids, my calling (I am the YW president), and just life in general.  Somehow I know it will get harder when this little guy arrives, but I can't wait for him to get here.  He will be my perfect laid back child, that will just let me drag him around every where and not ever fuss.  I can dream right?

Due date and Nesting

I have been nesting today.  It seems early, right?  There is a lady at church expecting her first girl so I decided to go through baby clothes and give her all our baby girl stuff.  I figured while I was doing that, I should just go through the boys clothes too and get out what we have for Stanley. Then I cleared some space in Annie dresser so I will have room for Stanley's clothes.  After doing all that, I realized I had probably done too much, as I have contractions. Oh yeah, I decided to pull out all the girl clothes that I think I can sell at the upcoming consignment sale in April, and then put the rest aside to donate.  Now that I sit down and think about how I feel like nesting I realized, that today is my original due date.  Before I miscarried I was actually due on Jan 7.  I figured the baby would come between Christmas and New Years, just because I usually go early.  But today is the actually expected due date. It strange to think that had I not of miscarried, I would have a baby in my arms by now, probably.  It doesn't really make me sad anymore, just strange to think about.  Also it makes me feel that Stanley needed to come when he did, and that is why that all happened, but I guess I will never know. I am ready for him to be here already and start adjusting to our lives with a new baby.  I hope that the last trimester will go by quickly.

25 Weeks

Not much to report. I am feeling more movement now.  Mikey has felt the baby move, but not the kiddos. Every time I have felt him move, and I tell the kids to come feel, he stops moving around.  They all are excited to feel him, and JR asked me all the time if I can feel him move.  I hope they can start feeling him soon.  I have a dr. appt next week, and I get to do the glucose screening.  I hope its not too bad.   I loved the way they did it in Mississippi, they used to just let me drink a soda before my appt.  But in SL and I am sure here too, I will have to drink one of their drinks, which are usually disgusting.  Hoping that I pass and all is well.  My dr. said that he will let me have another u/s in about a month.   It is strange to think that had I not miscarried before, I could have a baby in my arms right now.  I was due in Jan, but with the way that I go at least a week early with all my kids, its a good chance the baby would have been here by now.  I am ready to meet this little guy and not be pg anymore, but for whatever reason, this little boy is supposed to come in the spring, so I will have to be patient.

Here is my most recent belly shot, from last week, so 24 weeks.
